Mindfulness-based stress reduction is an 8-week psycho-educational training program designed to encourage “conscious living”. Experience the potential life-changing practices of mindfulness, including meditation and gentle yoga. Becoming more aware of what is happening in the body and mind in any given moment increases the possibility for acceptance and more skillful response to life’s stressors and challenges. CD’s and other materials will be provided to support practice in between sessions. This group also includes a one-day mindfulness retreat.
